Lemon Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Soft Black

One of my favorite aspects about working with an extreme set of colors for a primary triad is that it usually forces me to create an image with a distinct mood. This Lemon Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Soft Black color wheel is a good example of this.

These colors as floral motifs on a black background take on a different quality reminiscint of velvet and metallic fabrics. Adding some pastel texture to the shapes also helps break up the harshness of the colors.
